New way to contact the practice from 1 July 24

From Monday 1st July, we will be changing to a new system which will make it easier to contact the Littlebury team.  Whether you want to book an appointment or simply have a query, the system will reduce waiting time on the phone and help to reduce the 8am rush.

You can submit your request via the NHS App or through our website at any time.  If you don’t have access to a smartphone or the internet, our team will complete an online form for you over the phone or face to face in the practice.

Everyone will need to give the same minimum set of info, to help the GP decide what you need.  This info will then be checked by a GP or senior clinician who will ensure you are offered the most suitable option. This could be an appointment with a GP, nurse or another healthcare professional – or we’ll advise about what other options are available to you.

Other requests, such as fit notes, will be dealt with in the usual timeline. 

We believe this will help us to prioritise patient requests and deal them more effectively, using our team resources to support your needs and respond to them more quickly.
